Remains Of Woman Missing Since 1992 ID'd In Bensalem
Merrybeth Hodgkinson went missing in 1992. Three years later, her remains were found in the woods behind a local diner.
BENSALEM, PA — Bensalem Police have announced that they have identified the remains of a woman found in 1995 as that of a local woman who disappeared in 1992.
26 years after the her remains were found behind the Club House Diner on Street Road, Bensalem Police have finally identified the slain woman as Merrybeth Hodgkinson, a Warminster resident who went missing in 1992.
Known for almost three decades as the 'Clubhouse Jane Doe', Hodgkinson was a 31 year old woman who worked as an exotic dancer. After visiting her parents in Warminster in September of 1992, she was never seen again, leaving behind two young children.

Three years later, in 1995, police found the remains of a woman in a wooded area behind the popular diner. She was wrapped in plastic, her clothes found nearby. Two crucifixes were found by her body. Police determined her cause of death as strangulation. She was buried in Telford, Pennsylvania as 'Jane Doe'.
In a press release, Bensalem Police said they matched a DNA sample from the remains with one of Hodgkinson's living siblings, confirming that it was the missing Warminster woman. With two cases solved as a result, police are now looking to find who killed her.
