Sign Unveiled For Bensalem First Responders Field

Township Mayor Joseph DiGirolamo, accompanied by members of Council and Public Safety, unveiled the new sign, officially renaming the field.

BENSALEM, PA — A new sign was unveiled at the recently renamed Bensalem First Responders Field on Saturday, Dec. 4.

Accompanied by members of Council and Public Safety, Bensalem Township Mayor Joseph DiGirolamo unveiled the sign at the former site of the Trifecta Sporting Club/German Hungarian Club. The ceremony officially renamed the park to honor local first responders.

Representatives of the Bensalem Police Department, Bensalem Rescue Squad, and Trevose Fire Company attended on behalf of Bensalem First Responders.

The park was recently acquired by the Township and is currently being renovated. Restoration of the park's soccer field, a renovated irrigation system, and a resurfaced parking lot are just a few fixes to the park property that are being made after the renaming.
