Sports Convention, Carnival & Flea Market Among Weekend Events

SPORTS AND POP CULTURE CONVENTION
Where/when: Oxford Valley Mall, 2300 E. Lincoln Hwy., Langhorne, Sat. and Sun., regular mall hours.
What: Spend your weekend exploring popular icons and memorabilia of past sports, comics and pop culture at Oxford Valley Mall at an expo hosted by George’s Cards & Collectibles. The event will be held in the upper level of the JCPenney Court and the lower level of the Banana Republic Court.

LSAA CARNIVAL
Where/when: Russell Elliot Park, 150 Buck Rd., Lower Southampton. Fri.-Sat. 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., Sun. 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
What: Ride the Ferris wheel, munch on some popcorn and cotton candy and help raise money for the Lower Southampton Athletic Association.
Cost: Free to attend

RE-CYCLES BIKE & SPORT SHOP GRAND OPENING GALA
Where/when: 2205 E. Farragut Ave., Bristol. Sat. 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
What: The grand opening party will feature face-painting, free yoga demos, prize-wheels, musical entertainment and much more.

SONNY TURNER AND THE PLATTERS
Where/when: Radisson Hotel, 2400 Old Lincoln Hwy., Feasterville. Saturday, 6 p.m.-10 p.m.
What: Enjoy a night of classic music.
Cost: $55

BOWL FOR KIDS' SAKE
Where/when: 1754 Street Rd, Bensalem, Sunday, 10 a.m.
What: Raise funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bucks County through Bowl for Kids' Sake.

TREVOSE FLEA MARKET
Where/when: Buck County Technical Park, 4800 Street Rd., Trevose. Sun. 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
What: Browse through hundreds of crafts and secondhand items at bargain prices.
Cost: Free to attend

RUN FOR THE PLAYGROUND AND WALT DISNEY DAY
Where/when: Walt Disney Elementary School, 200 Lakeside Dr., Levittown. Sun. from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
What: Participate in a 5K race/walk and enjoy a full day of activities and refreshments. Proceeds from the fundraiser will help add to the school's playground equipment.
Cost: Free to attend. Race registration costs $25 in advance, $27 on Sunday.
