State Rep. Invites Seniors to Oct. 20 Expo

State Rep. Gene DiGirolamo (R-18th) invites local senior citizens, their families and caregivers to join him for his annual Senior Expo.

The expo will be held Thursday, Oct. 20, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the , located at 1850 Byberry Road.

“Each year, hundreds of area senior citizens stop by the senior center to learn more about a variety of public and private programs and services that may be able to benefit them,” DiGirolamo said in a release. “I encourage senior s to stop by to check their eligibility for the PACE/PACENET programs or the Property Tax/Rent Rebate program, or to see what other types offerings are available.”

This expo is a way for seniors and their families to learn more about the programs and services that are available to help them live healthier, safer and more fulfilling lives, the release stated.

A free lunch is offered for those who attend and various prizes will be given away.

The 18th District includes all of Bensalem Township and the West District, Divisions 3 and 7, in Lower Southampton Township.
