Trevose Troopers Report Incidents, Accidents

On Feb. 25 at 6:51 a.m., a state police cruiser put its lights on and stopped on I-95 at the Scudders Falls Bridge in Lower Makefield. A 2007 Freightliner was unable to stop and rear-ended a 2002 Subaru, which was pushed into the police car. The incident is under investigation by Cpl. David Hudock.

On Feb. 25 at 2:27 p.m., state police responded to a two-vehicle accident on I-95 at milepost 34, in which a 1997 Acura driven by Billie Driver, 33, of Croydon, struck another vehicle that had slowed due to congestion. Under further investigation, police arrested Driver for suspicion of DUI. She was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital for a blood test and processed at the .

On Feb. 26 at 1:10 a.m., troopers stopped Ryan Francis Beck, 18, of Bensalem, for speeding on I-95 at milepost 34.8. He was found to be intoxicated while being underage. Charges are pending analysis of blood alcohol content.
