Troopers Report Accidents, Drunk Driving, Hit-and-Run, Casino Incidents

Individuals involved were from Levittown, Morrisville and King of Prussia.

Between March 4 and March 7, state police from the reported the following incidents:

On March 4 at 3:51 p.m., state police responded to a three-vehicle, hit-and-run crash on I-95 at milepost 34. A vehicle described as a dark, four-door sedan was entering southbound I-95 from eastbound Street Road when it cut off and side-swiped a 2010 Toyota Corolla. The Toyota then slowed and was rear-ended by a 1995 Mack tractor truck. The Toyota and the Mack stopped at the scene of the crash while the vehicle that caused the accident fled toward Philadelphia. Trooper Shaun Flynn investigated the crash.

On March 5 at 1:28 a.m., state police stopped Farrah Ann Hastings, 34, of Levittown, on I-95 at milepost 37.9 for speeding. Hastings was found to be intoxicated. She was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital for blood testing, before being processed and released. Charges will be filed in district court. Trooper Craig Acord investigated this incident.

On March 6 at 1:58 a.m., state police stopped Katrina Iorraine Fayson, 31, of Morrisville, on I-95 at milepost 37.9 for speeding. Fayson was found to be intoxicated. She was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital for blood testing, before being processed and released. Charges will be filed in district court. Trooper Craig Acord investigated this incident.

On March 6 between 12:30 and 1 p.m., a patron at had his Blackberry phone and keys taken from his person without his knowledge. State police ask that anyone with information regarding this theft contact Trooper Gronski at (215) 942-3900.

On March 6 at 3:34 p.m., troopers responded to a one-vehicle accident on I-95 near milepost 36.9. A 2000 Chevrolet Malibu was traveling southbound when the driver, Christie Leedom, 31, of Levittown, lost control and struck a concrete barrier in the median. Leedom’s primary violation was listed as driving too fast for conditions. Trooper Denny Varghese investigated this incident.

On March 7 a6 12:14 a.m., state police arrested Angelo P. Ferreira, 47, of King of Prussia, for theft by deception. Ferreira was playing three-card poker when he removed $125 from a bet that he played. He was transported to the Trevose station. Charges will be filed in district court. Trooper Dung Martinez investigated this incident.
