Whiz Kids: Students of the Month

Whiz Kids: Malvi Patel and Swetanshi Patel

School: Bensalem High School

Accomplishment: Malvi Patel and Swetanshi Patel were recognized by the Rotary Club of Bensalem as February’s Students of the Month.

Malvi was nominated by Selma Alexanian, of the high school’s English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Department and Swetanshi was nominated by Lynne Jaffe, of the World Languages Department. Both Malvi and Swetanshi are enrolling at Bucks County Community College and then intend to transfer to a four year college, probably Temple. Malvi said she wanted to be a doctor, probably an ophthalmologist and Swetanshi an IRS accountant. Malvi and Swetanshi were accompanied by district Superintendent David Baugh (a new Rotarian) and by high school Principal Bob Anderson.
