Wiry Hair Saves Robbery Suspect

Philadelphia man found not guilty because his hair doesn't move like that of the robber in surveillance video.

On Wednesday, Feb. 16, a Philadelphia man was found not guilty in Bucks County court of robbing a Bensalem 7-Eleven store in April, despite eyewitness testimony and video tape evidence — because of his hair.

According to a story on PhillyBurbs.com, a jury believed Timothy Corbett’s defense attorney, who said the surveillance footage of the robbery showed a suspect with mussed hair.
