Bethlehem Fire Department To Hold Memorial Service
The memorial will honor local firefighters who have died in the line of duty.
The Bethlehem Fire Department will be holding their 2014 Memorial Service tomorrow at Schweder Station, 419 E. 4th St at 10:00 a.m.
“The City of Bethlehem Fire Department wishes to honor our local firefighters, who have paid the ultimate price for their dedication to their duty,” the Department says on their website.
“We wish to commemorate their sacrifices and loss of life by building a Fallen Heroes Memorial in the downtown area. This sculpture and surrounding grounds will serve as a lasting testament to our three confirmed line of duty deaths,” they said.
