Easton Avenue Domino's Latest Robbery Target

Three men, two with handguns, rob pizza shop Thursday night

Three men, two brandishing handguns, robbed the Domino's Pizza at 1353 Easton Ave. at about 10:30 p.m. Thursday, Bethlehem police said.

Two of the three men were also wearing masks, at least one of them was a Halloween mask, police said. One of the men struck a Domino's employee in the head with an object before they fled carrying money from the cash register. The employee required some medical treatment, police said.

Evidence was recovered from the scene, police said.

It is unknown whether this incident is related to a recent rash of robberies that Bethlehem police have tied to the violent Bloods street gang. Police are currently seeking Darius Michael Newman of Bethlehem who is alleged to have given robbery assignments to others.
