• Shooting injures one male outside Bethlehem McDonald's, no arrests yet (wfmz.com) — Police say a man was shot outside the McDonald’s on the 400 block of Wyandotte Street in Bethlehem Saturday evening and is now in surgery. Investigators believe the people involved knew each other and do not consider the shooting random, but no arrests have been made. Anyone with information is urged to call the Bethlehem police tip line.

• Free program seeks to give peace of mind to families of wandering loved ones in Lower Saucon (lehighvalleylive.com) — Families in Lower Saucon now have access to Project Lifesaver, a free search-and-rescue program that helps quickly locate loved ones who wander due to cognitive conditions. Participants wear small radio transmitters so trained teams can find them in about 30 minutes on average. Local residents can enroll by contacting the Bethlehem Health Bureau or the program’s police coordinators.
