• Restaurant known for unique burgers, milkshakes and retro vibes closes in Bethlehem (wfmz.com) — A popular spot for creative burgers and milkshakes, Retro Burger on West Broad Street in Bethlehem has permanently closed, according to its Google listing and social media posts. The restaurant, opened in 2023 by local restaurateurs Juan Carlos and Cara Paredes, had replaced The Mint and drew customers with its retro vibe and inventive menu, but no reason for the shutdown has been shared.
   

• Bethlehem Christian boys basketball true road warriors this season (wfmz.com) — Bethlehem Christian’s boys basketball team is thriving despite lacking a true home gym, starting 10-1 while playing all their games on the road. The reigning District 11 Class A champs, based in Bethlehem, have key wins already and looming tests against Allentown Central Catholic and Executive Education.
   

• Jupiter is ruling the winter sky (lehighvalleynews.com) — Bethlehem skywatchers can look up this week to see Jupiter shining at its brightest, as the giant planet reaches opposition on Jan. 10 and dominates the winter night sky.
