Penn State Monitoring 80 Students At Risk For Ebola

Experts say the students are unlikely to fall ill, and there is no immediate threat to the community.

Penn State has identified 80 students who traveled to areas near the Ebola Virus outbreak. There are students in many of Penn State’s Campuses. Experts say the students are very unlikley to fall ill with the virus, and there is no immediate threat to the community.


The university is following guidelines from the US Center for Disease Control, set down on August 29.


University medical personell are in communication with the students.

Anyone who is identified as potentially at-risk for exposure recieves a follow-up screening from university medical professionals.
