Police: New York Man Defied Casino Ban
Alleged trespasser had been banned from casino just a day earlier when he returned, police say.

A New York City man was jailed Saturday after allegedly trespassing at the
say Xin Ang Zheng, 30, of 46 Eldrige St., had been evicted from the Sands early Friday and banned from casino property.

He returned about 24 hours later, police said, despite signing a paper -- which was written in English and Chinese -- acknowledging that he'd be arrested for trespassing if he returned.
Through a translator, Zheng told police he knew he wasn't allowed to come back, but he had only been waiting outside for a friend and came into the building to use the bathroom.

He was charged with defiant trespass, arraigned before District Judge Daniel Corpora in Easton, and sent to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $2,000 bail.
