Bethlehem Catholic walks away with two trophies at regional event

Freedom High School hosted the 2011 Patriot Pride Cheerleading Competition on Saturday. Though there were no tournament bids on the line, this was the last regional competitive warmup before the National High School Cheerleading Championship later this month in Florida.

More than 30 regional high schools and junior high school cheerleading squads competed. Bethlehem Catholic High School's squad walked away with two first-place trophies, being recognized as "AAA" champion and taking first place for medium varsity schools.

The Hawks are on their way to Florida for the national competition.
