• Double-digit number of donors push Merry Christmas Fund (delcotimes.com) — A Boothwyn resident, Kathleen McHenry, is among the donors helping the Salvation Army’s Merry Christmas Fund in Chester reach 43 percent of its $50,000 goal, more than double last year’s pace. The fund supports food and toy distributions this week and helps sustain services year-round, and residents can still give by mail or online through New Year’s Day.
