• 'Unacceptable': Some skewer Pittsburgh over still-unplowed roads after big snowfall (triblive.com) — Residents in Pittsburgh’s Brookline neighborhood say many side streets and even parts of Brookline Boulevard remained icy and unplowed days after the city’s biggest snowfall in three years. While officials tout “moderate successes” and cleared main roads elsewhere, Brookline workers and commuters describe hazardous conditions and question whether the city has enough trucks and funding to keep their neighborhood safe in winter storms.
