• Haverford resident suffers smoke inhalation in house fire (delcotimes.com) — Broomall firefighters were called in to help Haverford crews battle a house fire on Avon Road Tuesday night, where one resident suffered minor smoke inhalation but declined hospital transport. The blaze, believed to have started in cardboard likely ignited by a discarded cigarette, spread to an enclosed porch and roof before firefighters used hose lines and roof ventilation to bring it under control.
