5 Things to Know This Week
A heads up for those live or work in Bryn Mawr and Gladwyne.
- There will be lane closures on I-476 N between Route 30 and I-76 on Wednesday and Thursday from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- The Schuylkill Expressway will close lanes between City Avenue and King of Prussia this week, according to PennDOT. The westbound right lane will close 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, while the eastbound right lane will close during that time frame on Thursday.
- The CD release party for Lower Merion School District's student-run record label, Ace The Ram, will be held Friday night at 8 p.m. at MilkBoy in Ardmore. The show features acts from Harriton and Lower Merion High Schools, including Brundle Fly, 13 Lines, DJ Scribe and Poor Fred Noonan, who recently won the Battle of Burbs competition.
- Garbage and recycling collections are on holiday-week schedules this week in Lower Merion.
- No Lower Merion Board of Commissioners meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday, per the township's website.
