According to a Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach HomExpert Market Report, there were 191 properties that closed in 2014, compared with 264 from the year before. In 2012 that number was 206.
The median price of the properties that did sell in 2014 increased 12.3 percent over the same period in 2013, from $454,228 to $510,000. In 2012, the median price was $601,400. The average days on the market decreased by 15.4 percent from 78 to 66 days between 2013 and 2014.
