Citizens Bank to Replace Old Dunkin' Donuts Site in Bryn Mawr

Construction has begun on a Bryn Mawr branch of Citizens Bank, replacing a Dunkin' Donuts that was torn down at 733 W. Lancaster Ave., according to the Main Line Times.

Citizens Bank announced earlier this month that it would close several of its area branch locations, though regional media representative Sylvia Bronner .

Citizens Bank's fourth proposal for the Bryn Mawr site was approved in 2009 (see PDF), though not without some concern from Lower Merion Township commissioners, staff and residents.
