Lower Merion Swears In New Police Officers
The probationary officers received their badges and took their oaths on Thursday.

Lower Merion Township on Thursday swore in three new probationary officers.

Damian Evans, Michael Groff and Joseph Lalor took their oaths in front of Magisterial District Judge Kathleen Valentine on Thursday, Jan. 29, the township said. The three also received their badges.
All three will soon begin training at the Municipal Police Academy of Montgomery County, the township said.

Board of Commissioners President Elizabeth Rogan and Township Manager Ernie McNeely spoke at the ceremony Thursday, where the probationary officers were joined by their families and introduced by Police Superintendent Michael McGrath, the township said.
