Overnight Thefts Reported from Unlocked Cars at Five Gladwyne Homes
Lower Merion police said Monday that spare change, cash and valuables were stolen from several cars in Gladwyne overnight between Aug. 18 and 19.

Lower Merion police said $15 in cash and change was taken from an unlocked car parked in an open garage on the 1500 block of Waverly Road in Gladwyne overnight between Aug. 18 and 19. The glove box and center console were ransacked, police said.
That same night, police said $400 in cash was found missing from an unlocked vehicle parked in the front driveway of a residence on the 1600 block of Winston Road in Gladwyne.
Paperwork and change were taken that night from two unlocked vehicles parked at a residence also on the 1600 block of Winston Road in Gladwyne.

Police said a black leather wallet and Sirius satellite radio were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked at a residence on the 1400 block of Abbey Lane in Gladwyne overnight between Aug. 18 and 19. An Apple iPod was stolen from another vehicle parked at the same residence.
Change was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked at a residence on the 1500 block of Waverly Road in Gladwyne that night, police said. Though there were three vehicles in the driveway, change was only stolen from one car, police said.
