Parking-Meter Bike Racks Intrigue Bryn Mawr Merchants
The hope is for township officials to discuss the notion next month.

The Bryn Mawr Business Association is hoping to install bike racks on parking meters in the Lancaster Avenue corridor, association president Kathy Bogosian said at Tuesday night's meeting.
Bogosian took an informal poll of proprietors in the back room of the New Leaf Club, and no one objected to having new bike racks in front of their businesses.

The association believes the racks would cost about $200 apiece, perhaps funded to some degree by local sponsors. The issue may be discussed next month at a Lower Merion Board of Commissioners meeting.
