Pinkberry, Ludington Library Launch Reading Program

With a helping hand from Pinkberry, Ludington Library is launching a summer reading program for preschoolers, children, young adults, and adults on Saturday.

Signups for the program will be held at Ludington, located at 5 South Bryn Mawr Avenue, and will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

And if you needed an extra incentive to register, Pinkberry, Bryn Mawr's newest frozen yogurt spot, will be on site from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. handing out free samples.

“We are thrilled to be part of the launch of such a wonderful program,” Pinkberry Bryn Mawr owner Michael Brand said, “As the father of three young children, there is nothing more important than reading to your child or having them read to expand their knowledge and their world.”

The program that officially begins June 17 and concludes August 9. This year’s theme is Dig into Reading. Participants are encouraged to read and log their hours each week in order to win weekly prizes and drawings for prizes throughout the program.
