Police: 3-Year-Old Drowned at St. Albans Pool
An unresponsive girl was pulled from the outdoor pool shortly before 5 p.m. Saturday and was transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital before she was pronounced dead.

A 3-year-old girl drowned Saturday afternoon at an outdoor pool at St. Albans Swim Club in Newtown Township, according to police.
Police and ambulance were dispatched to the swim club pool shortly before 5 p.m. on a report of a drowning victim, said Newtown Township Chief of Police Dennis Anderson.
When they arrived, someone was already administering CPR to the girl, and she was transported by Newtown ambulance to Bryn Mawr Hospital, Anderson said.

The girl was pronounced dead at 5:40 p.m., Anderson said.
