Police Blotter: Thefts Reported from Harriton, Bryn Mawr College, McDonald's
The following information has been supplied by the Lower Merion Police Department. If arrests or charges are mentioned, they do not indicate guilt or a conviction.

On Monday afternoon, reported to news media the following incidents from the past week:
Theft: Police said a theft occurred between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Nov. 2 from an office building on the 1200 block of County Line Road in Bryn Mawr, police said. Someone there filled out paperwork with false information and removed $45 from an envelope in a desk.
DUI: Police pulled over a black pickup truck that was westbound on Lancaster Avenue near Summit Grove Avenue in Bryn Mawr at 11:27 p.m. Nov. 2. Police said the truck appeared to be overloaded and was swerving in the curbside lane, almost hitting the curb several times. Upon stopping the driver, police said there was a strong odor of alcohol. The driver, Jason Peterson, 36, of the 400 block of Bermont Road in Drexel Hill failed a field sobriety test, police said. Police also found an open 1.5-liter bottle of vodka in the truck with some missing. Police said Peterson’s BAC was 0.16.

Theft: Police said a theft was reported from at 12:33 p.m. Nov. 3. Someone damaged a gym locker by breaking off the lock, and removed $100 cash and an iPod Touch, police said.
Theft: A theft was reported from the Rosemont between 10:55 p.m. and 1:30 a.m. Nov. 3. Police said $60 in cash went missing from a desk drawer in the manager’s office.

Public drunkenness: Police on supplemental foot patrol responded to the on the 800 block of Montgomery Avenue in Bryn Mawr at 1:14 a.m. Nov. 5, where they observed a man on the sidewalk yelling obscenities. When police questioned him, he said he had no ID and was 28 years old, police said. The man, Arturo Gonzalez, 19, of Greenwich, Conn., was charged with public drunkenness, disorderly conduct and underage drinking.
Underage drinking: Police responded about 1 a.m. Nov. 5 to the 800 block of Montgomery Avenue on a report of a loud party. Police said the party was overcrowded and were asking the occupants to leave when one of the occupants shut the door. Police said William Rosen, 20, of Longmeadow, Mass., was charged with possessing a false ID and underage drinking. No one else at the party was charged, police said.
Underage drinking: Police responded to the intersection of Prospect Avenue and Lancaster Avenue in Bryn Mawr at 1:36 a.m. Nov. 6 on a report of a man vomiting outside. Police said three men were sitting outside after attending a party at a private residence in Bryn Mawr. One man, Neophytos Zambas, 18, of Bloomsburg, N.J., was vomiting, police said. Zambas was taken to for treatment, police said. The other two men, Jacob Pickle, 18, of Allentown, Pa., and Ioannis Tahos, 18, of Allentown, Pa., were issued citations for underage drinking and were released, police said.
Theft: Police said three cars on the 600 block of Old Gulph Road in Bryn Mawr were entered overnight between Nov. 4 and Nov. 5, and a phone was stolen. The cars were unlocked, police said.
Theft: A brown purse containing $140 cash in a wallet was reported stolen from a library in Hefner Hall at between noon and 2:25 p.m. Nov. 4. The victim placed the purse on a chair while she was doing work and returned to find the purse missing, police said. In addition to the $140 cash, the purse itself was valued at about $150, police said.
