Police: Woman Makes Second Attempt at Dorm Room Thefts

A Philadelphia woman allegedly entered dorm rooms at Bryn Mawr College and took residents' personal items for the second time since March.

A Philadelphia woman has been caught trying to steal items from dorm rooms at Bryn Mawr College for the second time in the past two months, according to Lower Merion police.

Police say that Amaryllis Boger, 24, was interrupted by a sleeping dorm room resident who woke up to find Boger in her room on April 24. According to reports, Boger told the victim that she was looking for “Linda,” then left the room.

When the victim followed Boger into the hallway, she saw the defendant carrying a duffle bag that resembled one belonging to her roommate, police say. Boger left the area while the victim confirmed that the bag did belong to her roommate, then alerted campus security, according to reports.
