Villanova Police Calls: Fraud, Suspicious Reports

Lower Merion police responded to 17 incidents in the Villanova neighborhood in the week ending Sunday, Jan. 20, according to LMPD statistics.

Incident descriptions do not necessarily indicate arrests or convictions.

Incidents included:

• 7 alarm activations
• 1 encounter with deer Jan. 15 at Conshohocken State and Arrowmink roads
• 1 fire investigation Jan. 20 at Matsonford Road and Matsons Circle
• 1 credit card/ATM fraud Jan. 16 on the 700 block of Stoke Road
• 4 reports for suspicious people, circumstances or vehicles
• 1 transport to the hospital
