Wawa Unveils New Smartphone App

The new app can be used to make mobile payments for purchases at all Wawa locations. It also features a rewards system.

Do your mornings depend on Wawa coffee and your afternoons on a made-to-order hoagie?

Then you’ll want to download Wawa’s new mobile app, which features a rewards program and payment system. According to an announcement from the company, customers can use the new app to make mobile payments for purchases at all Wawa locations.

The app was unveiled Thursday and is free through the App Store for Apple devices and through Google Play for Android devices, the company said.

In addition to mobile payments, Wawa’s new app features a rewards program with mobile coupons, as well as store locator, fuel prices check, nutrition information for the store’s products and more.

“We hope the new Wawa app and Wawa Rewards program will further extend the unique bond our associates have established with our customer over the past 50 years, through new forms of connectivity and customer recognition.”

Wawa stores are located in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and Florida.
