Work To Begin On Marlbridge Way In Radnor Township July 27

RADNOR TOWNSHIP, PA—PECO announced Tuesday plans to replacing its existing natural gas equipment to enhance service Radnor Township customers . This includes installing new underground pipe, which the energy company says is more durable and enhances safety and improves service reliability.

Work will begin July 27 in the area of Marlbridge Way to Wyldhaven Road in Radnor Township from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This project work may occur in roadways as well as on sidewalks and potentially on a person's property, according to PECO.

The natural gas main and service line installation portion of the project is expected to be completed in six weeks.

"To ensure your safety and the safety of our crews, we may need to temporarily shut off natural gas service for a short period – approximately 4 to 8 hours – while we install the new service line to your home," officials said.

After completing the natural gas main installation on your street, PECO said it will begin upgrading services outside residents' homes.

"At that time, we will not need access to the natural gas appliances or equipment inside your home, until directed otherwise. Only necessary outside work will be completed to begin upgrading your service line," the energy company said.

Any areas impacted on a person's property will be repaired, the streets will be repaved, and all areas will be restored to their original condition, according to the company.
