Cecil Township Police Investigate Theft of 3,000 Pounds of Steel
The theft reportedly happened sometime between Friday afternoon and Monday morning.

Cecil Township police are investigating the theft of more than 3,000 pounds of steel from a home construction site at Hill Station.
Ray Tomnay, of Pittsburgh, told Cecil Township police on Monday that someone stole the pile of steel angle irons, which were located in the corner of a lot on Beck Lane.
Tomnay, of Ray Tomney Masonry, told police the steel pieces were painted grey and valued at $3,000, and were in various lengths ranging from 4-feet to 10-feet.

He said he believed the steel was stolen sometime between 2 p.m. Friday and 7:30 a.m. Monday.
Anyone with information on the theft is asked to call the department at 724-743-0940.
