A UPMC spokeswoman said Wednesday afternoon that Kevin Krause had been discharged and that Mary Beth Krause was listed in fair condition.
A spokeswoman confirmed Wednesday afternoon that Peauge had been treated and released.
According to police, Krause's vehicle was stopped in the left northbound turning lane at the intersection of Route 19 and Gallery Drive. Peague's vehicle was stopped directly behind Krause's.
Schaefer failed to stop his vehicle at the red light driving southbound, crossed the center double yellow line, striking Krause's vehicle, according to police.
Krause's vehicle then hit Peague's, and Schaefer's car continued to travel, striking Peague's car as well, police said.Â
Peague's car ended up in the empty La-Z-Boy lot, according to police.
Chief Harry Fruecht said the department is seeking results of a blood test to determine if Schaefer had been drinking.
