Your Monday Morning Laugh: Mustache Mania!

While on an outing to the South Side for impromptu tattoos (nothing too risky, no worries) and new nose rings, a BFF and I found ourselves in a jewelry and accessories store—and were surprised to see that, despite the joint's mostly female customer base, there was mustache merchandise everywhere.

There was mustache jewelry. There were mustache purses. There were faux eye glasses with plastic mustaches attached (which we, of course, had to try on).

It was only later that the girl at the counter clued us in: Mustaches are all the rage. Even with those who can't grow them.

Like my niece, Lilly Belle.

She will turn 3 this month, and she will do pretty much anything to make people laugh. So, when I brought in a stick-on felt mustache I bought for her older brother as a joke gift from a bubble gum machine, she sported it like a champ.

And wouldn't take it off.

And then insisted on a photo shoot.
