• Closure of Grant Bar in Millvale after over 90 years an emotional hit for owners, customers (triblive.com) — A beloved Millvale institution, Grant Bar & Restaurant, has closed after more than 90 years, and one of its most loyal regulars now lives in Carnegie but still visited several times a week for prime rib. Owners say age and rising costs pushed them to sell the historic spot, which remains listed for $1.5 million as customers share memories of family celebrations there.
