• Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection awards $3.1M in clean water projects in 8 counties (outdoornews.com) — A new state grant will help update the Catawissa Creek watershed plan, giving Columbia and Schuylkill counties fresher data on water quality, land use, and mine drainage cleanup priorities. The funding is part of $3.1 million in DEP Section 319 grants for eight Pennsylvania counties, aimed at restoring impaired streams, reducing farm and stormwater runoff, and improving fish and wildlife habitat.
