The family whose Bridgeville home was damaged by fire two weeks ago is searching for their lost cat after the pet ran away while firefighters were battling the blaze.
Elaine Pulford said the calico cat with long hair went missing during the May Avenue garage fire on Feb. 18 and hasn’t been seen since.
Her daughter, Cheryl, and granddaughter, Madison, lived in the home and have been staying in a rental apartment in the area ever since the fire. A car fire destroyed the garage and laundry room, and caused smoke damage to parts of the home. They’re not expected to be able to move back home for another three months while their house is restored.

But their concern now is finding their missing 5-year-old cat after the three other cats in the house were found to be safe. The family said Beezie has a white stomach and multi-colored hair on her back.
Anyone with information on Beezie is asked to call Elaine Pulford at 412-221-9423 or 412-512-7666.
