A Scott Township man was arrested earlier this month after police said he stole his elderly neighbor’s car and threatened her if she called authorities.

Scott Township police said Robert Jasper, 47, took the woman’s car from her Elmbrook Lane home and was seen driving it around the neighborhood on March 8.

The woman was fearful, police said, so she didn’t contact them. However, another person in the neighborhood noticed Jasper driving the woman’s car and called police.
