Life allegedly imitated art for an out-of-town couple that went to the movies in November. Collier Township police said Douglas Lyle, 40, of DuBois and Jessica Duffel, 22, of Punxsutawney, were drunk and causing problems while watching a movie at the Destinta Theatres in Chartiers Valley Shopping Center on Nov. 19. They both were removed from the cinema and charged with public drunkenness. As for the movie police said they were watching at the time? It was The Rum Diary, which stars a very intoxicated Johnny Depp throughout the flick.
Crash leads to DUI arrest: Mauro DeFelice, 25, of Scott, was charged with DUI drugs following a two-car accident near the Interstate 79 off Noblestown Road on Nov. 21, Collier police said.

Attempted break-in still unsolved: Collier police said they have yet to capture on Nov. 23. However, during the investigation, a neighbor on the street told officers that $500 was stolen from their bedroom on Nov. 22.
Domestic dispute: Two people face charges following a fight at an apartment in the 5200 block of Thoms Run Road on Nov. 26. Collier police said they charged Mickie Parkin, 21, of Collier, with simple assault and false imprisonment, and Dillion O’Rourke, 21, of McDonald, with simple assault, criminal mischief and defiant trespassing.

Food fight: Four people face an array of charges following a fight on Nov. 27 at Duke’s Station restaurant in Manor Oak. Scott police said they charged Joseph M. Houck, 31, of Katy, Texas, with simple assault, harassment, disorderly conduct and harassment. James Scott, 39, and Julia Scott, 31, both of Pittsburgh, each were charged public intoxication, and Alexander Wolk, 23, of Pittsburgh, faces a disorderly conduct charge, police said.
Fight in Birdland: Scott Township police arrested Mark S. Mesagno, 48, of Heidelberg, and charged him with simple assault, harassment and public drunkenness after officers said he go into a fight on Robin Drive on Nov. 26. He was arraigned at the Allegheny County Jail, police said.
Public intox arrest: Township police charged Gary Schuck, 53, of Scott, with public drunkenness after officers said they spotted in staggering on Washington Avenue on Nov. 26.
Loud music complaint: David Sciba, 32, of Scott, was charged with disorderly conduct and harassment after township police said he got into an argument with his Carothers Avenue neighbors over loud music on Nov. 22.
Cell phone theft: Frank Zouloufos, 21, of Scott, was charged with theft after township police said he stole a cell phone from a customer eating at Duke’s Station on Nov. 23.
Public drunkenness charge: Scott police charged 26-year-old Rebecca Penatzer with public drunkenness on Nov. 26 after officers said they found her on Center Street.
Money stolen from cash register: Scott Township police said they are investigating the Nov. 21 theft of an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register at Little Caesar’s Pizza on Washington Avenue.
Jewelry and silver missing: Residents living in a Providence Pointe apartment told Scott Township police that a silver serving set and pieces of jewelry went missing on Nov. 23.
Car vandalized: Scott Township police said the windshield of a car parked on John Street was smashed on Nov. 23.
Arguing with officers: Bridgeville police said they arrested Thomas Beeson, 41, of Bridgeville, and charged him with simple assault, resisting arrest and public intoxication on Nov. 19. Police said Beeson shouted at the officers and tried to fight them.
Man found near railroad tracks: Bridgeville police said they had to help a 38-year-old borough resident who was intoxicated and fell over a hillside. Police said Justin Walker fell over a guardrail near James Street and rolled down a hillside toward the railroad tracks around 3:30 p.m. on Nov. 26. Officers were able to get Walker, who was not seriously injured, back up the hill before charging him with public drunkenness.
DUI arrest: Randy McClain, 32, of Presto, was charged with drunken driving on Nov. 13 after Bridgeville police said they stopped his car on Washington Avenue.
Drunken driving charge: Mark Morgan, 23, of McDonald, was charged with drunken driving after Bridgeville police said they stopped his car along Bower Hill Road on Nov. 20.
Fleeing from police: A Carnegie teenager faces a litany of charges after Bridgeville police said he was drunk when he tried to drive away from officers during an attempted traffic stop. Police said they were eventually able to locate 18-year-old Steven Romain on Patterson Drive, and charged him with drunken driving, eluding police, underage drinking, careless driving and other traffic citations following the Nov. 27 incident.
