Police Blame Dumpster Fire on Teen
Police say a teenage boy used matches to light a Dumpster on fire in Bridgeville.

Investigators say a teenage boy used a couple books of matches to light a Dumpster on fire in Bridgeville.
said the boy, who is in his early teens and lives in the borough, set the contents ablaze inside the trash container located at 715 Chartiers St. around 2 p.m. Wednesday.
Police did not identify the boy because of his age, but said he will face juvenile charges of arson, criminal mischief and reckless endangerment. Bridgeville police Chief Chad King said more charges could be coming.

were able to quickly extinguish the fire without major damage to the Dumpster. The Allegheny County fire marshal is assisting local authorities with the investigation.
