Truck Hits Bicyclist in Collier Township

A woman riding her bike in Collier Township was struck by a pick-up truck and seriously injured Thursday night.

The woman, whose identity was not released, was struck by the pick-up truck shortly after 8:30 p.m. while riding the bike on Ewing Road near Cloverleaf Estates, according to the .

Firefighters said she was immediately placed in an ambulance and taken to an area hospital. Her condition is not known.

There was no information on the driver of the pick-up truck. Collier Township police did not return calls sweeking additional information on the incident.
