VOTE for Presto VFD's Fish Fry on Y108 Radio

The Presto Volunteer Fire Department in Collier Township is one of eight Pittsburgh area fish fry places in the running to be featured on Y108-FM radio.

"Jimmy and Monty In The Morning" show on Y108 is holding a contest this week to decide the best hometown fish fry contest.

The place with the most votes by Friday—VOTE HERE—will earn a special visit from the radio morning show hosts that night with parts of their appearance recorded for broadcast.

As of late Tuesday night, the Etna Volunteer Fire Department and Corpus Christi Parish in McKeesport were neck-and-neck for the lead. Should the top two places finish with vote totals less than 1 percent from one another, Jimmy and Monty may broadcast from both locations.

Presto’s fire hall was mid-pack and will need some help to capture the lead. The volunteer fire hall on Thoms Run Road is having its Fish Fry on March 8 and 22.

Other locations in the running for the Y108 appearance this week: Saint Albert the Great Catholic Parish, the Donora American Legion, the Lloydsville Volunteer Fire Department near Latrobe, Swissvale VFD and the Sardis Volunteer Fire Company in Murrysville Borough.
