• Hundreds Celebrate Southern Lehigh Football Team's State Championship (sauconsource.com) — Southern Lehigh’s first-ever state championship football team was honored Saturday with a victory parade and medal ceremony right in the heart of Coopersburg, from Liberty Bell Elementary to Town Hall Park. Hundreds of residents braved the cold, shook symbolic cowbells, and heard from coaches, players, and local officials as they celebrated the Spartans’ historic 2025 PIAA 4A title.
   

• Lehigh Valley food safety report: Dead mice, black mold, dirty equipment, no hot water (mcall.com) — If you eat at Ecco Domani Pizza on East Fairmount Street, inspectors recently found several issues, including improper hair restraints, raw eggs stored above pizza dough, food stored on the floor, and a dirty slicer, though all were corrected on site. The broader report also lists recent food safety inspections and violations at dozens of other Lehigh Valley eateries.
   

• Lehigh Valley seniors create ornaments for 2025 State Capitol tree in Harrisburg (lehighvalleylive.com) — Coopersburg Senior Center is one of six Lehigh County sites whose handmade ornaments now decorate the Christmas tree in the State Capitol’s Main Rotunda in Harrisburg. Local seniors’ creations are part of a statewide project featuring hundreds of ornaments from 93 community centers, on display through January 8, 2026.
