Couple Finds “Forever Home” with Opening of Nothing Bundt Cakes

New Nothing Bundt Cakes Opens in Cranberry Township

Jessica and Felipe Valdez traveled the country with insurance business but, with their daughters approaching school age, they knew they were ready to settle down. Jessica was born and raised in Harmony and, with the opportunity to open a Nothing Bundt Cakes in Cranberry Township, they knew they had found their “forever home.” “This is a part of the homecoming that Jessica and I have been building for years,” reflected Felipe Valdez, who opened the new bakery recently with wife Jessica. “We are excited about our daughters getting to be raised in this wholesome and happy environment and creating a legacy for them.” The bakery will celebrate their grand opening festivities, including a day to benefit MHY Family Services (MHY).   • Friday, January 15
    • 9 a.m.-7 p.m. – MHY Family Services (MHY) Benefit Day – 20% of sales will be donated to this organization dedicated to promoting the safety, health, education and spiritual well-being of youth and families

Nothing Bundt Cakes is located in Cranberry Shoppes at 20215 Route 19, Suite 106 and is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. This is the 10th bakery in the state and the second in the Pittsburgh area with another location in Upper St. Clair. The concept combines the warmth of nostalgia with a fresh, modern approach. The luscious cakes are baked in-house and are made with the finest ingredients, including real eggs, butter and cream cheese, in 40 unique designs and 10 delicious flavors.
