Cranberry Cops To Take To The Ice
Cranberry police officers will play a charity hockey game against city of Pittsburgh and Adams Township police officers.
CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA — Members of the township police department will swap their police uniforms for hockey sweaters to raise money for a community organization.
The 2023 Joyce Memorial Police Sled Hockey Fundraiser will occur May 13 at 4:10 p.m. at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex on Cranberry Springs Drive. Proceeds from the event benefit the Mighty Penguins Sled Hockey, an organization that gives the opportunity for disabled adults and children to experience the adapted sport of sled hockey.
Cranberry’s officers will compete against officers from Pittsburgh and Adams Township police departments. Raffles will also be held.
