Cranberry To Detail Disc Golf Course Status
One of the world's longest disc golf courses currently is under construction in North Boundary Park.

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA - Curious about Cranberry’s new championship-level disc golf course that’s now under construction along with a smaller learn-to-play course and its adjacent two-mile nature trail? You’ll soon have a chance to learn more about the projects.
Township manager Jerry Andree will host an upcoming coffee and conversation meeting focused on the projects. The event will be held June 16 at 10 a.m. at the North Boundary Park Penn Power Shelter.
Groundbreaking occurred in April on what will be one of the world's longest disc golf courses.
The 18-hole course also is expected to be among the world's most challenging, with the design anticipated to include elevation changes, tight fairways and many trees players will have to navigate around.

At more than 10,700 feet, the disc golf course will be the largest in the state and one of the 10 longest among the 7,400 disc golf course in the world, according to the Cranberry Township Community Chest, which conceived the project.
The project also includes a six-hole ADA-accessible recreational/instructional disc golf course and two miles of new nature trails that will connect with other nearby trails. The course is bein built on the 30-acre western section of the park.
