Cranberry Launches Social Media Ambassador Program

Cranberry is initiating a new program to try to bring township residents closer together. Get the details here.

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA — A new program is giving residents the opportunity to use their voice, their feeds, and their creativity to inform, connect, and engage with neighbors purposefully.

The Cranberry Township Social Media Ambassador Program empowers community members to share authentic, fact-based information about township initiatives, news, and events. In doing so, ambassadors help build transparency, spark participation, and create Cranberry pride.

“Social media is sometimes seen negatively because of the misinformation that can surface online,” said Tina Fedko, township communications director. “But when used thoughtfully, it becomes a powerful tool to share accurate information, build trust, and strengthen community connections. That’s exactly what we’re hoping to do with the Social Media Ambassadors program.”

The township communications department will manage the program while implementing the vision of the Township’s board of supervisors, which mandates transparent communication efforts throughout every level of local government.

Any Township resident 18 or older who is passionate about Cranberry and actively present online can apply. For more information and to apply, visit cranberrytownship.org/socialmedia.
