Cranberry School Assistant Principal Receives Statewide Honor
Haine Middle School assistant principal Jeremy Womer has been honored by a statewide educational organization.

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA — Haine Middle School assistant principal Jeremy Womer's educational and administrative skills have earned him statewide recognition.
Womer has been named Pennsylvania Outstanding Assistant Principal by the Pennsylvania Principals Association. He's now eligible for consideration for the National Association of Elementary School Principals Outstanding Assistant Principal of the Year Award.
"I'm deeply humbled and honored by this recognition," he said.

Womer has been an assistant principal at Haine since 2023. He began his career as a teacher and administrator in the Wood County School District in West Virginia from 2011-2017. In 2017, he joined the Seneca Valley School District as acting assistant principal at Rowan Elementary School. In 2018, he served as a fourth-grade teacher at Haine and then as assistant and acting principal.
Womer described himself as approachable and eager to assist in any way at the school.

"I never ask anyone to do anything that I wouldn't do," he said. "This can be helping with sweeping and cleaning, assisting a student, moving items or set up and tear down for a performance."
