Cranberry VFC To Hold Somber 9/11 Ceremony
The Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company plans to honor those lost in the 9/11 attacks 24 years ago.
CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA —The Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company will pause this September 11 to commemorate, reflect, and honor those lost during the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
A large American flag will be hung from a ladder truck beginning at sunrise on Thursday, September 11 and will remain until sundown, at the Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company, 20727 Route 19.
“Taps” will be played in front of the company’s 9/11 Memorial outside of the fire station at the following times:

- 9:03 a.m., United Flight 175 crashes into the South Tower
- 9:40 a.m., American Flight 77 crashes into the Pentagon
