Cranberry's Franklin Road Slated For Major Upgrade
Township supervisors are poised to approve an agreement with PennDOT to improve the key township road.
CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA — Supervisors on Thursday are expected to sign off on a reimbursement agreement with PennDOT for significant improvements to Franklin Road.
PennDOT is in the process of designing the project which focuses on Franklin Road between Route 228 and Peters Road. Elements include widening and realignment, and the project is expected to begin later this year.
Through the agreement, the township would coordinate design elements and ensure any sewer and water infrastructure is properly relocated.
